After visiting the Kinclaven Bluebell Woods in the morning, we made our way over to The Hermitage that evening. Originally designed as a pleasure ground in the 18th century for the Dukes of Atholl, this Perthshire forest hosts some of the tallest Douglass Firs in all of Britain.

Walking through this forest was like stepping back in time, half expecting to see a Brontosaurus peaking our from behind the massive firs. But alas, the only Little Foots we saw were the adorable dog models who we had with us. I spent most of my time with Theo and Flynn, two stunning Shelties.
