The Dogs That Built Us is an ongoing series about the dogs that shape who we become — hunters, conservationists, and people.

Told across every chapter of the relationship — from the uncertainty of the beginning, to the trust that becomes instinct, to the gratitude of looking back — this series is as much about the humans as it is about the dogs.

Because a bird dog doesn't just share a home or a field with us. It changes the course of a life. This is a record of that change, told through the people who lived it and the dogs who caused it — in both story and film.
